Project Based Learning with micro:bit devices
5 September, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
The micro:bit is a pocket-sized codeable computer with motion detection, a built-in compass and Bluetooth technology, which was given free to every child in year 7 or equivalent across the UK in 2016. It is a tool capable of assisting teachers in implementing Technologies implementation, particularly from upper primary to secondary levels of education.
What will you learn in this workshop:
- How to use micro:bits programmed with Makecode and bring your projects into the real world using physical computing.
- How to run this in your class and what resources are required.
- How to start with 1, 6 and 1:1 devices.
