QSITE and Varsity College are offering a workshop series on GF Capture the Flag to all teachers of Digital Solutions and Digital Technologies. This series runs over three consecutive Thursdays (5th, 12th and 19th March).
GF Capture the Flag is a coding environment where students learn to control autonomous bots using the Python language. The environment has been quickly growing in popularity with sponsors such as IBM and Griffith University supporting the competition and offering their support into the future.
The sessions presented by Steve Tucker will walk teachers through setting up GF Capture the Flag, the rules, the software and how to teach State Machines in a structured way to make the coding easier for students.
We will be organising competitions by region, the winners of each region will then face off at the state finals.
