QSITE Gold Coast Chapter presents our latest Workshop:
Looking for an activity to do with your class this National Science Week? Join QSITE Gold Coast as they bring a hands-on workshop aligned to this year’s school theme: DECODING THE UNIVERSE.
Use the micro:bit to send and receive simple binary code messages representing space objects (e.g., star, comet, planet). This introduces coding, binary systems, and real-world space science.
Who should attend?
This free workshop is suitable for teachers of Upper Primary to Secondary students.
No prior Python or Block coding knowledge is needed for this workshop.

Save and share the Micro:bit Workshop flyer with other interested educators.
Register today to join us for this session and take away some resources to assist you in the classroom for National Science Week 2025!
