Rockhampton

Rockhampton Chapter is based on Rockhampton, the beef capital of the world, and the idyllic Capricorn Coast but supports teachers from towns including Gin Gin, Gladstone, Biloela, Emerald, Blackwater and Clermont.

QSITE Rockhampton Chapter

The QSITE Rockhampton Chapter is based on Rockhampton, the beef capital of the world, and the idyllic Capricorn Coast. Nevertheless teachers often travel from as far away as Gin Gin, Gladstone, Biloela, Emerald, Blackwater and Clermont to attend professional development workshops organised by the Chapter. Our role is to support teachers in their use of Information and Communications Technology in the classroom. Through regular meetings, conferences and workshops we encourage teachers to network, share ideas and resources and strive for best practice in curriculum development.

We welcome contact from teachers, I.T. managers and support staff working in Central Queensland. Please subscribe to the QSITE Rockhampton list to participate in discussion of local initiatives for I.T. in education and receive reminders of upcoming events.
