QSITE has a tradition of support for ICT educators including tailored professional development; active representation in curriculum and policy development debates; and online collaboration for daily problem solving.

QSITE's student-focused programs, such as the Student Web Challenge and GIDGITs (IT for Girls) competitions, are designed to engage students in their ICT learning and use their skills for practical ICT implementation and curriculum-based research projects. These programs are structured in competition format to engage students even further and to publicly reward students and their schools for the efforts involved.

QSITE Conferences feature specialised IPT and ITS strands to share the latest teaching developments with all members and upcoming corporate membership programs will provide industry links for potential vocation-based teaching strategies.

QSITE supports ICT teachers in numerous ways, but we also know that ICT teachers have unique career development opportunities in a future of cross-curricular ICT integration.

Joining QSITE supports you in the daily challenge of teaching technology subjects, but will also show you how valuable your ICT skills are to others in our profession.

Whatever the reason you join, QSITE has an esteemed place for all ICT educators.
