Smart Classrooms Education Support Workers Framework

The Smart Classrooms eLearning Frameworks suite offers Queensland State schools a range of comprehensive professional learning materials that help guide dialogue, collaboration and reflection on transformational teaching and learning practices.

The Education Support Workers Framework, to be released in 2012, will enable schools to acknowledge the work of this group of educators and identify how their digital practice contributes to the eLearning culture in schools. Through engagement with the framework indicators Education Support Workers are encouraged to reflect on their digital practice by creating a Digital Collection, as they support student learning, rather than examine their level of ICT skills and competency. A Smart Classrooms Certificate of Digital Practice will be awarded when the digital collection review identifies that all the Framework indicators have been addressed. This certificate may lead to further nationally recognised qualifications in Education Support.
