Dear QSITE members,

You are invited to join with other ICT educators and contribute to the social network component of the QSITE website.

How to request an account:

• Go to http://qsite.edu.au/user/register
• Choose the groups that you would like to be part of on the site - these may be for your local chapter or for an interest group
• Your account will be processed quicker if you include your QSITE membership number
• Upon submitting the form your membership with QSITE will be verified by an administrator
• If you have previously requested an account within the system, your login should now be activated. If you can not recall your login details go to http://qsite.edu.au/user/password

Updating your Profile:

Each member of the site has a member profile. When you first login you will be redirected to your profile page. If you click on the "Bio" tab you can edit the information on your profile. This is only viewable by other logged in QSITE members and will help you to find members with common interests.

Clicking on the "Edit" tab will allow you to update your Account Settings (including your picture) , Contact Information and Personal Information.

Adding content to the site:

Members can also add content to the site, and choose which online groups to share the content with and can also contribute public information.

You can create content by clicking on the Add/Create option at the bottom of your profile page, or by clicking on the options on the menu of the right of a group pages.

As others add content to the site you will also be able to make comments or collaborate on creation with other QSITE members.
