Australian Teacher's Magazine

(Clip)

I have spoken to our Managing Director and we’d like to find some way of sending out
a copy of the IT Guide (included in the September issue) to your 3000
members (well, those of the umbrella associations).

That’s the aim so I’m just wanting to see if it’s something you’d be
interested in and how we’d go about it. Like I say, we can mail
individual copies of the magazine & IT Guide to all your members from
the printers, but it’s just a question of getting the contact details.
I appreciate mailing details may be a sticking point...possible ideas
then:

If we received all the address details electronically we could do a
mail merge and print off the postage labels/send them out direct from
the printers; we would be more than happy to sign a declaration saying
we’d destroy the details once we’d used them and they would not be
used for any other purpose.

Alternatively, we could mail you (or the umbrella associations) the
copies in bulk & you could distribute them to members...obviously
you’d be incurring the postal costs then.

So, just to clarify then – we’d like to send a free copy to all your
members and I’m just sounding you out for the best way we can go about
doing that.

If you would like Australian Teacher Magazine to add your event to our
listings feel free to email the details to either myself or my
colleague Jennifer Sheridan via
jennifer@tempomedia.com.au. Like I
say, if you have a schedule for the rest of the year we can put them
in all at once. And, we’re always keen to hear about innovative
projects in the classroom, top teachers, teacher awards and
scholarships.

Finally, we have also launched a teacher forum
www.ozteacher.com.au/forum which includes IT/helpdesk threads and
discussions.
